After a sweltering summer, fall's crisp air has finally graced the Virginia countryside.
I am, of course, ecstatic. It's the most wonderful time of the year for me: the fireplace is finally roaring again, my pumpkin carving candle is burning, and my cozy sweaters have burst from their space bag.
Which all means that you too, my dear friends, are craving cozy recipes! I received an email from Kristi K. about sharing more 'popular recipes' round ups, in particular my own personal faves. And I'm totally here for it!
So while I shared the most popular summer recipes this year, I wanted to share the most popular fall recipes, both yours and my own! These are the top autumnal recipes y'all go back to time and time again each year, along with a few of my own that I must have every time the weather calls for cozy food.

A personal fave of mine!
This sweet potato pie is an update on the classic, all you need is a shot of bourbon, sugar, and a culinary torch for something that impresses everyone who lays eyes on it.
Y'all love this beautiful deep dish pie, absolutely jam-packed with all those apples you picked! Work has definitely been rewarded here.

This recipe for classic southern candied yams has been one of my family's favorite thanksgiving side dishes for generations. I love these candied yams so much that I had to put it onto this list. They're sweet and spiced with cinnamon!
