We all love s'mores and a boozy version of your favorite campfire treat is the perfect way to usher in the fall season. My s'mores martini recipe has chocolate graham cracker rims surrounding creamy and indulgent chocolate martinis! Add a toasted marshmallow garnish for a dessert martini that hits all the right notes.

We have had perfect weather and cool evenings these past few days. A beautiful weekend on the way and leaves are starting to change colors on the cherry trees here...which means that summer is coming to an end.
I love the end of summer, it's full of wonderful memories; a little peach cobbler before we head back to school, making tomato soup with the overwhelming amount of tomatoes I have in my garden each year, and it's cool enough in the evenings to light up the fire pit and burn up some s'mores. It's a blissful time before the hustle and bustle of The Greatest Time of the Year.

An Adult Twist on Childhood - S'mores Martini!
I'm no stranger to a dessert cocktail, and this one is absolutely fabulous for a small dinner party or just enjoying on your own. It's greater than the sum of its parts: a chocolate martini with a little extra love. An adult version of toasted gooey marshmallow between chocolate and graham crackers, so much fun!
I use hot fudge sauce I have left over from our summer s'mores ice cream on the rim of the glass, coat that in graham cracker crumbs, shake up a delicious chocolate martini with creamy Bailey's, a little half and half, and flavored vodka.

What really makes it a smores martini is that flaming toasted marshmallow on top. I used a culinary torch to burn it, but do so carefully. We don't want anyone burning down the house.
Ingredients Needed for this Cocktail
Full ingredients, measurements, and printable instructions are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Hot Fudge Sauce or Chocolate Syrup - I love using hot fudge sauce; it's thicker so it clings to the rim better and doesn't run. But hey, if you've got a bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup in the fridge, use it!
- Crushed Graham Crackers - put the crackers in your food processor and blitz well, I'm talking super fine! If the crumbs are too big, they'll drag the rim garnish down and get soggy in the martini.
- Creamy Chocolate Liqueur - look for Godiva or Mozart chocolate cream liqueur at your local liquor store.
- Whipped Cream Vodka - a flavored vodka is what takes this martini to that s'mores level.
- Bailey's Irish Cream - we want to really amp up the creaminess for our campfire cocktail, here. Bailey's is smooth and creamy and gives it that marshmallow vibe.
- Half-and-Half or Chocolate Milk - I've tried it with both, and honestly I lean a little bit towards the chocolate milk. Creaminess 2x here.
- A Large Marshmallow - I used 'roaster sized' marshmallows, they're BIG, y'all!
How to Make a S'more Chocolate Martini

Put a few tablespoons of fudge on a small plate and the cracker crumbs on another. Take the rim of your martini glass and dip the martini glass into the chocolate, then dip the rim into the graham cracker crumbs. Smear a little extra chocolate sauce inside the glass as well.
Fill your cocktail shaker with ice and the martini ingredients, seal it up and shake well.
Strain into the prepared glass, then take a cocktail rod and skewer through a marshmallow. Carefully torch the marshmallow, don't catch it on fire (I'm covering my butt here. Don't set your house on fire or burn off any arm hairs saying I told you to do it. I didn't!)

Variations and Pro Tips
- Don't have Mozart or Godiva chocolate liqueur - use another chocolate flavored liqueur like crème de cacao.
- Swap the fudge for chocolate syrup - rim the martini glass in the chocolate syrup and drizzle chocolate syrup inside of the glass instead. It will be loose and liquidy.
- Swap the whipped cream vodka for vanilla vodka or marshmallow vodka to get that marshmallow flavor into the martini.
- Instead of chocolate... - have a marshmallow and graham cracker rim using marshmallow fluff instead.
Equipment I Used
- Cocktail Shaker
- Martini Glass - this is the martini glass I used, it's so pretty with a thick stem and little bubbles in it! Pro Tip: Place in the freezer for a frosty glass!
- Kitchen Torch - this is the best for torch marshmallows without an open fire source like the broiler or a gas range.
- Metal cocktail rods - much safer than using wooden skewers while burning those marshmallows!
