My cozy and decadent creamy pumpkin spice espresso martini is perfect for the fall season. Fresh espresso is hit with a ton of fall flavor from a homemade pumpkin spice syrup made with real pumpkin, caramel vodka, and creamy white chocolate liqueur. A crowd pleasing festive recipe that would be perfect after a fall dinner party or Thanksgiving,

Okay, I'll admit it: I'm still just a millennial who loves pumpkin spice everything. The fall is simply the early 2010s frozen forever into an annual season, and I'm not mad at it! I'm ready to bring some fall cheer to the blog.
As an OG who literally rolled into her high school physiology class every morning with a venti sized pumpkin spice latte at the peak of PSLs, this tasty little cocktail recipe is like it's grown up sister. Sweet and creamy with plenty of coffee flavor, and yet the perfect drink for casual fall entertaining.

Make a Delicious Pumpkin Espresso Martini this Fall!
This is a fall twist on the classic espresso martini, so I wanted to make it both easy to make and I really wanted to make it as 2012-autumnal-tumblr-nostalgic as possible.

We start with a quick and easy pumpkin spice syrup; you can make it yourself using my recipe or buy one in the stores (it goes great in your morning coffee!).
Add it to a cocktail shaker and shake with the coffee and spirits, then pour into a chilled martini glass. Easy peasy, but the results are the perfect cocktail for fall: a perfectly sweet, spiked, and creamy pumpkin spice latte!
Ingredients for this Fall Cocktail

For the Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup
- Pumpkin Puree - this makes the syrup lumpy, so you'll need to strain it out once you're done making the syrup.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Brown Sugar
- Water
For the Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini
- Strong Coffee - you can use freshly brewed espresso and let it cool to room temperature. or you could use cold brew concentrate.
- Caramel Vodka - I really love the caramel flavor, it feels more fall to me than regular vodka. Swap it out for your favorite vodka (I also really like vanilla vodka for this).
- White Chocolate Liqueur - a creamy espresso martini uses Bailey's Irish Liqueur, but there's something that white chocolate liqueur brings that adds a rich coffee creamer vibe!
- Kahlua - this is a coffee liqueur made with rum! Super easy to find at any liquor store.
- Three Coffee Beans - these little beans are used as a garnish, you can also use chocolate covered espresso beans instead.
How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

Step 1 | Make the pumpkin spice syrup in a saucepan over medium heat, simmering for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a heat safe container and you have your syrup!

Step 2 | Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds. It's going to get COLD, but this is the way to get that lovely foam.

Step 3 | Pour the martini into your cocktail glass, and make sure to really shake that foam on top.

Step 4 | Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and those espresso beans. Boom, enjoy the best pumpkin spice espresso martini you'll ever taste!
Variations and Pro Tips
- Instead of regular pumpkin puree, try adding rich pumpkin butter to the syrup. It tastes just like pumpkin pie!
- Don't have an espresso machine? Use a moka pot, it's how many of us have had our coffee made for, well, a long time.
- Swap the vodka for tequila or even a smoky mezcal, which would be so great for halloween parties!
