The Best Cajun Crawfish Dipping Sauce

This is the best Cajun crawfish dipping sauce, perfect for dipping and dunking. Easy, spicy, and creamy, this delicious sauce will make your crawfish boil a star.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoon hot sauce or more, to taste
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • kosher salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives or parsley finely chopped, optional

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk all of the ingredients together well except the salt. Taste, then season with salt if needed.

  • Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or use immediately!

Notes

Variations and Pro Tips

Creole and Cajun seasoning tend to taste very similar, so if you don't have Cajun seasoning and don't want to make it, Creole seasoning would work just fine.
Pour the sauce into separate bowls when serving. We never want to contaminate the whole batch with double dipping!
