Strawberry Gin Smash

This fresh and fruity strawberry gin smash is a super simple cocktail that is perfect for spring and summer!

Ingredients

  • ½ lime cut into wedges
  • 6 strawberries hulled
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar to taste
  • 6 ounces gin
  • Ice
  • ¼ cup Club soda or tonic water

Instructions

  • Add the juice of two wedges of lime to two glasses along with a tablespoon of sugar. Muddle the strawberries with the back of a spoon in the glasses until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
    ½ lime, 6 strawberries, 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Add ice, three ounces of gin to each glass, and fill the glass to the top with club soda.
    6 ounces gin, Ice, ¼ cup Club soda or tonic water
  • Enjoy!

Notes

To Make a Pitcher:

  1. Muddle ¼ cup granulated sugar, ¼ cup lime juice, and ½ lb of strawberries in a pitcher that holds at least 8 cups.
  2. Stir in 2 cups of gin then fill to the top with club soda. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with a strawberry.
