Ingredients

Purple People Eater Mocktail

  • 3 ounces pomegranate juice
  • 1.5 ounces non-alcoholic blue curaçao syrup
  • 3 ounces sweet and sour mix
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • ice for shaking
  • club soda or lemon lime soda to top

Eyeball Garnish

  • 1 peeled and seeded lychee canned
  • 1 frozen blueberry

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients except for the soda and garnish ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until the shaker feels very cold, about 30 seconds.
    3 ounces pomegranate juice, 1.5 ounces non-alcoholic blue curaçao syrup, 3 ounces sweet and sour mix, 1 ounce grenadine
  • Pour into a highball glass over ice, then top with club soda or lemon-lime soda.

  • To make the garnish, stick the blueberry into the hole left by the seed of the lychee. Then skewer the fruit with a cocktail pick and garnish your drink for a one-eyed purple people eater!

Notes

Instructions for a Purple People Eater Cocktail

Add 1.5 ounces of vodka to the ingredients list, and use blue curaçao liqueur instead. Follow the rest of the instructions and ingredients as written.

Instructions to Make a Big Batch 

  • 1 part blue curacao
  • 1 part sweet and sour mix
  • ½ part grenadine
  • 1 part pomegranate juice
Mix all that together in a pitcher, and keep in the fridge until you're ready to serve it.
Then when it's time to serve, top the pitcher off with club soda or Sprite, and make lychee eyeballs for your guests' drinks
