Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
  • 4 ounces sparkling white wine
  • 2 teaspoon grenadine

Bloody Rim

  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 3 drops red gel food coloring

Instructions

  • Make the bloody rim on your flutes
  • Mix the corn syrup and red food coloring together on a small plate until the syrup is completely colored.
  • Dip the rims of the champagne flute into the red corn syrup, give it a spin so the flutes grab an excess amount of it. When you flip it right-side-up, the corn syrup will begin dripping down the glass.
  • Make the Mimosa
  • Fill your flutes with equal parts juice and sparkling wine, then top with the grenadine.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Make a Big Batch

To make a big batch of mimosas, simply multiply it by parts. You want equal parts wine and juice with 1/12 part grenadine.
