Happy March, y’all.
It’s now three month’s into the year. Um..okay, 2019. Calm yourself down now, it was just New Year.
Let’s go over the week together, shall we?
I brought y’all my long awaited tonkotsu ramen recipe, and it’s gone ham sandwich (aka crazy) on Facebook. I was going to use the word unctuous in it’s description but decided against it because…who decided unctuous would be a good word to add into the culinary dialect? The actual word is something negative: oily, greasy, in a bad way. But recently, all over the Food Network they’ve been using it as a positive: savory, rich, full of flavor, buttery, fatty in the best way.
Maybe this is how we turn a negative into a positive? Because honestly, that ramen recipe is unctuous in the best culinary way.
What’s coming up this week? An amazing corned beef hash with crispy potatoes and perfectly runny eggs! Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Not to mention a classic St. Patrick’s day treat that’ll be posted soon after, so make sure you’ve subscribed to our newsletter so you don’t miss out on some good, good recipes.
